Is it worth staying open on Labor Day? That depends on where you’re located, it seems. According to user data from payment service Square, the share of restaurants open for business on the holiday varies widely, from nearly all of them in San Antonio, to less than half in Phoenix. The payment service pooled Labor Day 2017 data from the hundreds of thousands of restaurants that use it, noting the top five cities where the restaurants stay open on Labor Day as well as the five cities where the most restaurants are closed. The data does not include operators that are usually not open for business on Mondays.

See which cities topped the charts in both camps.
