The modern Korean restaurant serves upscale, vibrant dishes

Modern Korean restaurant Hwaban opened its doors August 16 in New York City. The concept comes from chef and restaurateur Mihyun Han and her husband Key Kim. The pair is also behind Kosaka, an omakase spot in the same city.
The name of the restaurant means “as beautiful as a flower” in Korean, and its decor and menu are tied to that imagery. Floral arrangements can be found throughout the space and many of the dishes are garnished with edible flowers, lending color and elegance.
Take a look inside Hwaban.
