Millennials are having babies and with this demographic shift comes a focus on children’s menus and a hard look at kids dining spaces.

Today’s kids want customization in their menus at restaurants according to a 2019 report by Datassential, so why wouldn’t they want their dining experience customized as well? There are some fun traditional options, such as kid-friendly cups with straws and colorful placemats to separate them from the adults at the table.

But there’s practicality — and safety — involved as well, which is where items like booster seats and highchairs come into play. We have two featured here, one of each, that will be both beautiful and practical in any space.

According to the Pew Research Center, more than a million Millennials give birth each year, and the total number of moms in that demographic — not including adoptive mothers or stepmothers — reached 17 million in 2016. So it’s a good idea to be prepared to make those families comfortable in your restaurant.
