West African flavors took over our site this week with Bret Thorn's analysis of the cuisine across the country that brings ingredients like fufu, suya and jollof rice to customer's plates. Simileoluwa Adebajo, chef and owner of Èkó Kitchen, Kwame Onwuachi, executive chef of Kith & Kin, Noah Levine of Teranga and more speak about their uses of these flavors and the growing movement across the country.

The debate over third-party marketplaces has been raging with the revelations that these marketplaces are listing restaurants without permission or knowledge. Amidst these revelations, cities and states are beginning to regulate these marketplaces, find out how.

The world’s biggest news story, the Coronavirus, has been affecting restaurants in general but decimating Chinatowns across the country at alarming rates. New York City restaurants in Chinatown specifically have suffered, losing up to 70% of its business since the disease's outbreak.
