Lamano: Tapas and wine cocktails in the heart of Chelsea

Known for the contemporary Mexican restaurants Temerario, Ofrenda Cocina Mexicana and insect-themed The Black Ant in New York, chef Mario Hernandez and partner Jorge Guzman have turned to Spain for inspiration.

Under the recently formed Handshake Hospitality, their newest concept Lamano opened in January, next door to the year-old Temerario in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood.
